Keep a copy of the board before you erase it. Capture or import a photo, choose Magic or Color, then save the notes as PDF, PNG or JPEG.

You can prepare a scan before signing in. Downloading requires sign-in and may require credits. Check the access shown in the scanner.
Your notes and diagrams stay as images. Use the scan as a reference; it won’t turn the handwriting into typed notes or the diagram into editable shapes.
How It Works
Get the writing into the frame
Open Camera on mobile or Use Webcam on desktop starts the camera after you grant permission. Keep the board edges and all the writing in view. AUTO waits for a stable detected board; MANUAL lets you press the shutter yourself. One capture takes you to Review.
Choose Upload images for photos already on your device. If camera access is denied, change the browser permission or import photos instead. Inputs must be images that your browser can open.
Look for reflections across the smallest writing before you scan. If glare hides a word, move and take another photo while the board is still available; don’t count on enhancement to recover it.
Choose Magic or Color
Start with Magic, or switch to Color. Those are the two choices here—there’s no separate Whiteboard or B&W button. If you used marker colors to distinguish people or tasks, check that the saved copy still makes those distinctions clear.
Use + Add More to import other board photos. Remove unwanted pages and drag the multi-page thumbnails into presentation order. Imported thumbnails show the source images before final processing.
Automatic edge handling can change the final framing. Review has no manual corner adjustment, so use a better-framed photo if the exported result leaves out part of the board.
Keep the board as a PDF or images
Choose Create PDF to keep several board views in one file, with each photo on its own page. Prefer image files? Select PNG or JPEG and use Export. One photo gives you one image; several photos come in a ZIP archive.
Open the download before erasing the board. Check the small labels, arrows and colored marks, then count the pages and save the file before closing the tab.
Questions about whiteboard scans
No. This scanner exports page images or an image-based PDF. It does not perform handwriting transcription.
Yes. Import them with Upload images or + Add More, arrange the multi-page thumbnails, and choose PDF. Each photo remains a separate page; the scanner does not stitch them into one panorama.
You can prepare the scan before signing in. Sign-in is required to download, and credit access is checked separately.
Capture the board in even light and check the faintest writing before exporting. A strong black-and-white treatment can lose pale colors or useful color distinctions. Keep a color original and choose the version that preserves the information clearly.
