Conformance Status

Privacy by Architecture
MiOffice.ai processes all files locally in your browser using WebAssembly. This architecture provides inherent accessibility benefits:
- No account required — zero barriers to access for any user
- No file uploads — assistive technology users retain full control of their data
- Instant processing — no server round-trips or loading delays
- Works offline — available via PWA for users with connectivity challenges
Accessibility Features
- Skip navigation link on every page
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
- ARIA labels on all interactive elements
- Keyboard-accessible command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K)
- Focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Responsive design — works from 320px to 4K
- Pinch-to-zoom enabled (no viewport scaling restrictions)
- High contrast text (WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum ratio)
- Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion
Known Limitations
- PDF Editor canvas interactions may have limited screen reader support
- AI-powered tools (background removal, object removal) require WebGL which may not work on all assistive technology configurations
- Video processing tools use WebAssembly (FFmpeg) which requires SharedArrayBuffer — some browser configurations may not support this
