How It Works
Start with a text-based PDF
Add up to 10 PDFs, up to 50 MB each. A PDF whose words you can select and copy is a useful starting point.
Under Conversion Mode, Non-OCR is selected. OCR is disabled and marked Under Development, so this mode does not recognize words in scanned pictures.
Convert and download the Word file
Click Convert. Each successfully converted PDF produces a DOCX file. Use its Download button, or Download All when multiple results are available. If Auto-download is enabled, saving may begin automatically.
Files may be uploaded for conversion. Stay connected while starting the task and check the displayed credit cost before continuing.
Review before you edit
Open the DOCX next to your PDF. First check that all the text is present and reads in the right order. Then review headings, tables, columns and page breaks.
Expect to check the formatting and images rather than assume they carried over. Conversion may return text arranged as paragraphs and page breaks without recreating the original design.
Keep the original PDF until you have checked the Word document. For a multi-column report, pay particular attention to whether sentences from different columns have been mixed together.

The OCR option is not available here. A scan with no extractable text may fail conversion. Use an OCR workflow to recognize the words before trying to create an editable document.
