Turn a video clip into a GIF
Turn a short clip into an animated GIF when the motion tells the story without sound.

Check the processing mode and charge before starting. Eligible on-device tasks may offer a guest trial or daily allowance; cloud processing requires sign-in and credits.
Choose the moment you want to animate. If it sits inside a longer recording, save that section with Trim Video first, then open the shorter file here.
How It Works
Make your GIF
Open one MP4, WebM or MOV file, up to 100 MB. Your device may allow a smaller file for on-device processing.
Leave the editor effects and Output settings at their defaults. The standard conversion uses a width of 480 pixels and 10 frames per second.
Click Process Video to GIF. When the result is ready, use Download and open the saved animation. Check that the movement is clear and the clip begins and ends where you intended.
Know what the GIF can carry
A GIF has no sound. If your explanation depends on a spoken instruction or a musical cue, keep a video version for that message.
Avoid changing the editor effects or video Output settings during this conversion: those changes can produce video output instead of a GIF. Prepare any edits in a separate video file first.
Questions about video-to-GIF conversion
No dedicated GIF width or frame-rate controls are shown in this workspace. The default conversion uses 480 pixels and 10 frames per second.
GIF does not support an audio track. The animation can preserve visible motion, but not the video's sound. Keep a video format such as MP4 when music, narration, or other audio is important to the result.
