How It Works
Convert your WebP files
Add up to 50 WebP files, each no larger than 50 MB. PNG is already the output format, so you don’t need to choose a quality setting or another format.
Click Convert, then download the PNG results. For a batch, use Download All; your browser may ask you to choose a folder or save the files in a ZIP.
Check dimensions and transparent edges
Check the saved PNG’s pixel dimensions before using it in a print layout or detailed design. On-device conversion can reduce large images to a longest side of 4096 pixels, or 2048 on mobile and other slower devices.
Place an image with transparent areas over the background you’ll actually use. Look closely at the subject’s edges and small text. Converting to PNG won’t recover detail that was missing from the WebP.
Questions about converting WebP to PNG
No. This workflow produces a still PNG, not an animation. Keep the original animated file.
No. There’s no quality control in this tool. Check the saved dimensions and appearance; a PNG result isn’t a promise that every source pixel stayed unchanged.
No. PNG can preserve the decoded image without adding another lossy encoding step, but it cannot recover detail removed by earlier compression. Keep the original source image if you need the best available version for editing.
