How It Works
Open the video you want to crop
Choose one MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, or MKV file, up to 500 MB, and wait for the preview. Your device may have a lower limit for on-device processing.
Frame the part you want to keep
Start with the rectangle over the preview. Choose Free to adjust its width and height separately, or choose 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, or 9:16 to keep a set shape as you resize it.
Drag inside the rectangle to move it, then drag an edge or corner handle to bring the frame closer. Read the selected pixel dimensions below the overlay. Use this rectangle rather than the separate Width (px), Height (px), X Offset, and Y Offset boxes.
Leave room for movement: the same crop applies throughout the clip. For example, a close crop that fits a speaker at the start may cut off their hand when they gesture.
Save and check the MP4
Click Process Crop Video. Play the result and watch the moments where your subject gets closest to an edge. Use Download if the automatic download hasn’t already saved the MP4.
Open the saved copy before sharing it. Keep the original so you can choose a wider crop later if you need one.
Questions about cropping video
No. Cropping changes the visible area. Use Trim Video to choose a shorter time range.
Watch the whole clip with the intended crop, including moments when the subject moves toward an edge. A crop that works for the opening frame may fail later. Use a wider framing or a layout with padding if the subject cannot stay inside the crop.
